Model Application Photos

Model Application Photos

So you finally get the courage to submit an online model application. Do you know the fastest way to be overlooked? Poor images. What makes a poor image? Screenshots, not cropped, snapchat filters, facetune, proofs, and low resolution- they all qualify as poor images. Photography location is also important. Bathroom selfies are a no. Car selfies are a no. You won't make the first cut if you submit this type of photo.

Modeling agencies are always on the lookout for new talent. They look forward to seeing new applicants. The key to standing out in the application process is having great images. Strong photos allow you to stand out from the crowd, and demonstrate that you are serious about modeling.

What if you cannot afford professional images? Not a problem. You do not need to have expensive, professional photographs to submit to Sculp Agency. Does it help, absolutely. Is it required, not necessarily.

Today's smart phones allow for taking good photos- its completely doable, and affordable. Just make sure to take images with good lighting- outdoor light is typically best.  We want to see photos of potential models looking natural. We are not looking for photos showing heavy amounts of makeup, with extreme contouring and heavy fake lashes, or extreme hairstyles and crazy wigs or colors. Keep your photos that you submit clean, with little makeup, and avoid overly styled hair.

In addition to including real photos of yourself without filters and touchups- we do want to see professional images. If you have them, include them. You may want to fill out an online model application and then follow up with your professional images sent to info@sculpagency.com letting us know that you completed an online model application and want to include these as well.

Let your natural beauty shine through. Your authentic and real you- not an overly touched up filter of someone that resembles you. Take the application process seriously and, in turn, you may be accepted into Sculp Agency.
